Can unattended minors ride the Bustang bus alone?
Children under the age of 16 will not be allowed to travel alone. All children 15 years and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years of age or older. This is for the safety of your child. Children aged 16 and older may ride alone.

Does the Bustang Outrider bus go to Denver International Airport?
No, the bus only goes to Union Station in Denver. At the UNION STATION/AMTRACK stop, you can pick up the A-Line train to DIA.

How can I purchase tickets for Bustang?
Pay with exact cash on the bus or download the Bustang app here to buy your ticket via the app.

What if I want to go farther than Denver Union Station?
From Denver, you can connect with Amtrak, Denver International Airport, or Greyhound.

Who do I contact if I have any problems while I am traveling on Bustang?
  Crested Butte to Denver route is serviced by Alpine Express. Please call or text 970-728-6000.
  Alamosa to Pueblo route is serviced by SRDA. Please call 719-545-8900.

Are there other forms of public transportation in Chaffee County?
The Chaffee Shuttle offers public transportation Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and many Saturdays. Please call ahead to the office to schedule a ride at 719-530-8980. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

If you are a Chaffee County resident on Medicaid, The Chaffee Shuttle can transport you to your medical appointments free of charge, both locally and out of town. Please call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule your ride at 719-530-8980.
